Eastern Shore Crab Chowder Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
4 tablespoons butter
4 cups whole milk
2 cups half-and-half cream
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 lb. crabmeat
parsley
Instructions:
Saute celery, onion and green pepper in butter over low heat until tender. Add milk, cream, salt, sugar and pepper. Stir occasionally until hot. Add crabmeat. Heat thoroughly. Garnish with parsley.
