Crab Around The Clock Recipe

Crab Around The Clock (Yields 2 quarts)

Ingredients:

1 lb. backfin crabmeat


1 to 1 1/2 cups sour cream or mayonnaise (to taste)


1 cup grated cheddar cheese


1 hard-boiled egg, chopped (optional)


1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp, crumbled


1 teaspoon minced dill weed


1 teaspoon minced basil


salt & pepper to taste



Instructions:

Pick over crabmeat to remove any shells. Gently mix in sour cream (or mayonnaise), cheese, egg, bacon, onion and herbs. Salt and pepper to taste.
