Our Large Dry Sea Scallops are premium 10/20 count scallops, meaning you'll receive between 10 to 20 scallops per pound. Carefully harvested and never treated with added phosphates or excess water, these dry scallops retain their naturally sweet flavor and firm texture while delivering the beautiful golden sear that seafood lovers and professional chefs expect. 

Unlike "wet" scallops that absorb added moisture during processing, dry scallops cook more evenly, caramelize beautifully, and won't release excess water into your pan. The result is a richer flavor, a firmer bite, and restaurant-quality results every time.

To ensure adequate refrigeration during shipping in the summer months; we are adding dry ice to the coolers.  If the product arrives frozen or partially frozen it can be immediately thawed and the fresh quality will not be  jeopardized. These products have not been frozen prior to shipment.

Shipping & Delivery

Fresh Scallops will arrive packed with gel packs, unless shipped together with frozen product. Please note, if shipped with frozen items, scallops will arrive frozen.
Fresh Scallops should be immediately placed on the coldest part of your refrigerator.

Preparation & Consumption

It is recommended that scallops be rinsed in
ICE cold water and dried before cooking.

Cooking Instructions

Cookin Tip:
For the perfect golden crust, pat the scallops dry, season simply with salt and pepper, and sear over high heat for 2-3 minutes per side. Finish with butter, fresh herbs, and a squeeze of lemon.

Expiration

Use or freeze your product within 3 days. If frozen, use within 180 days.

Storage

This is a fresh seafood product. Refrigerate and use or freeze within 3 days.
