Shipping & Delivery

We ship all of our frozen products with dry ice. Dry ice may evaporate in transit. As long as the product remains ice cold to the touch, it can be placed in the freezer.

Storage & Inspection

Storage: Must be kept frozen.
Thawing: Remove from vacuum sealed packed prior to thawing.
In the Refrigerator (Best & Safest):
Place the seafood in a new, unsealed plastic bag or on a paper towel–lined plate, and let it thaw overnight in the fridge.
Cold Water Bath (Fast): For a quick thaw, place the removed seafood into a sealed, non-vacuum ziplock bag and submerge it entirely in a bowl of cold tap water. Change the water every 30 minutes until thawed.

Preparation & Consumption

Fresh Dressed & Frozen Soft Shell Crabs are cleaned and are a ready to cook product. Fresh Dressed Soft Shell Crabs should be rinsed under cold water prior to cooking. Some popular cooking methods of Soft Shell Crabs include the following: Sauteed, Deep Fried & Grilled.
